One of our family traditions has become a patio party for friends on or near July 4th. This year we decided to have a backyard BBQ, or perhaps I should say a backyard "cookout", on July 3rd. We have plenty of room on our patio, so we invited lots of friends. We had 27 attend. We grilled burgers and dogs, and baked a pork roast. Our friends brought various side dishes.
The patio from above, before our guests arrived. I didn't get any photos after guests arrived; I was too busy!
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Love those decorations. I suppose those banquet tables are used for yard sales as well? Are you, hubby and David back in those bedrooms now?
New Kid: the two longest banquet tables in the picture we borrowed from our church, as well as 14 of the chairs. The far left banquet table is ours, and yes, we use it for garage sales. The far right table is our patio table.
Everyone is back home in their own bedroom now!
Everything about your party looks fun! I love the title and concept of your blog. My first visit here, and I will be back. xo Joan@ thepottingshed-anythinggoeshere.blogspot.com/
